Quantum Computing & Programming

Introduction to Quantum Algorithms

Duration: 12 Weeks Level: Intermediate Fee: $750.00 Accreditation: Verified Registry

Course Overview

Learn the basics of qubits, gates, quantum superposition, entanglement, and fundamental algorithms like Deutsch-Jozsa and Shor.

This course introduces the basic concepts of quantum information processing. Students will build simulation workflows using Qiskit, Cirq, and custom numerical tools in Python. By the end, they will program real quantum backends.

Course Curriculum

Module 1: Foundations of Quantum Mechanics
Module 2: Qubits and Quantum State Vectors
Module 3: Quantum Logic Gates and Circuits
Module 4: Classic Quantum Algorithms (Deutsch, Grover, Shor)
Module 5: Hands-on Lab on Quantum Hardware APIs

Prerequisites

  • Solid background in Linear Algebra and basic Python programming.

Key Outcomes

  • Understand how qubits process information, construct quantum circuit representations, run Grover's database search, and run scripts on simulators.
